We regard this achievement not only as the result of individual academic efforts but also as a reflection of our institutional approach, which encourages research and supports scientific productivity. At Medipol, we will continue contributing to science and strengthening our presence in the international research community. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our academics who have contributed to this achievement.”

RANKING BASED ON INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC INDICATORS
The ranking, compiled by Prof. John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University and his team, uses internationally recognized indicators to assess the citation impact of scientists’ research.

Based on Scopus data, the study considers total citation counts, the h-index, the co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and citations to publications in which researchers are listed as sole, first, or last authors.

Using a composite score (c-score) calculated from these indicators, scientists were evaluated in two separate categories according to their citation impact throughout their careers and specifically during 2025.

The study also accounts for the influence of self-citations and classifies researchers across 20 scientific fields and 174 subfields.
