Exam information
For our international students who registered late for the 2026-27 academic year, and are required to attend the English preparatory programme, the English Proficiency Exam will be held face to faceon Thursday, 8 October 2026 at 13:00 at the Istanbul Medipol University Kavacık North Campus.
No make-up exam will be given.
The exam is for departments with a compulsory English preparatory requirement.
Students whose information is not in the system and whose registration has not been completed will not be admitted to the exam.
How do you find your classroom?
Please check your exam time and classroom with your student number in the list below:
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), student numbers and full names cannot be shared openly. For this reason, the information in the list is partially masked. Accordingly:
When searching for your student number in the list, type the first two and the last two digits of your number with four asterisks (****) in between.
Then check the initials of your first name and surname in the row you have found.
Example: For the student named Jane Doe with the number 45334389, search for 45****89. Then check that your name appears as “45****89 – J*** D**” in the relevant row.
Students must know the student number given to them at registration. (Classrooms will not be identified by name.)
Exam day schedule

13:40 | From this time on, no students will be admitted to the exam building. Students are not allowed to leave the classroom during the first 40 minutes of the exam. |

Points to note when coming to the exam
A valid ID card, driving licence or passport must be carried (Istanbul Kart or other documents are not valid; no other document will be accepted).
A soft-leaded PENCIL and an ERASER must be brought.
Your exam classroom information must be checked in advance (dilokulu.medipol.edu.tr).
Exam rules
Going to the restroom during the exam is prohibited.
After the first 40 minutes, students who hand in their exam paper and leave the exam room cannot take their paper back and continue the exam afterwards.
Students who finish the exam must leave the building immediately.
During the exam, students are prohibited from having any electronic device such as a computer, mobile phone, smart watch or headphones, or materials such as notebooks, books or note paper, with them. Such devices and materials must be left with their companions.

75 and above | They are exempt from the English Preparatory Programme. |
60 – 74 | They are entitled to take the Face-to-Face Speaking Exam on Friday, 9 October 2026. |
59 and below | They will attend the English Preparatory Programme. |
Speaking Exam
Date: Friday, 9 October 2026
All speaking exams will be held FACE TO FACE.
The Speaking Exam lists will be announced on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
Onlystudentswhoscoredbetween 60 and 74 on theOctober 8 examwill be eligibletotakethespeakingexam.
The Speaking Exam will also be graded out of 100, and students who score 75 and above will be exempt.
Students who score 74 and below in the Speaking Exam will attend the English Preparatory Programme.
Results
The exam results will be published on mebis.medipol.edu.tr; students must know their MEBİS login passwords.
