Istanbul Medipol University TÖMER Team Attends DÖDAK Accreditation Information Meeting

The team of Istanbul Medipol University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) attended the Accreditation Information Meeting for the April 2026 Application Period, organized by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Language Teaching and Preparatory Centers (DÖDAK).

The meeting was held online on July 13, 2026, with the participation of the entire Istanbul Medipol University TÖMER team, including its managerial, academic, and administrative staff. During the meeting, DÖDAK representatives provided comprehensive information on the main stages of the accreditation process, evaluation criteria, preparation of the self-evaluation report, classification of supporting evidence, and the functioning of the quality assurance system.

The meeting also addressed DÖDAK’s core principles of scientific rigor, impartiality, transparency, ethics, and continuous improvement. Participants were informed that the accreditation process consists of several stages, including application, feedback on the application, the information meeting, preparation and submission of the self-evaluation report, the site visit, and the preparation of the final evaluation report.

The meeting is expected to make a significant contribution to the systematic and comprehensive implementation of Istanbul Medipol University TÖMER’s accreditation preparations. With the participation of its entire team, TÖMER will continue its efforts to improve teaching and learning processes in line with national and international quality standards, strengthen its institutional quality culture, and maintain sustainable improvement practices.
