ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE FINAL THREE-COURSE EXAM AT THE END OF THE SPRING SEMESTER OF THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
According to Article 27-3 (e) of the "Regulation on Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Education and Instruction at Istanbul Medipol University," Three-Course Exam: The three-course exam is granted to students who have not yet completed the maximum duration of study specified in Article 44 (c) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547. This applies to students who have completed the education in their enrolled diploma program but have failed up to three courses in total after the resit exams and are unable to graduate. The right to take the exam is given by the decision of the relevant unit's administrative board. The exam is held at the end of each semester, within thirty days following the completion of the resit exams. The grade obtained in this exam replaces the course grade for the failed courses.
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING THE APPLICATION:
- Applications will be made in person, and applications without signatures will not be accepted.
- It is mandatory to attach an up-to-date transcript to the application letter.
- Only students who have a maximum of three remaining courses to graduate are eligible to apply.
- Students who have never taken a course or who have failed a course due to absenteeism will not be allowed to take the three-course exam for that course.
- Students will not be allowed to take the three-course exam for practical courses (such as internships, laboratory practices, graduation project, graduation project applications, etc.) that they have never taken or have failed due to absenteeism.
- Students who wish to receive information about the exams should contact the course instructors.
- The three-course exams will be held IN PERSON.
