Vision

To advance the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics as a more effective discipline in promoting public health and well-being. The Department aims to become a nationally and internationally recognized academic unit that contributes to the advancement of Türkiye’s healthcare system through its original scientific research and the education of highly qualified graduates.

Mission

To educate competent Orthotists and Prosthetists who possess lifelong learning, teaching, and effective communication skills; demonstrate professional and scientific excellence; are capable of conducting interdisciplinary studies and research-oriented activities; and are committed to serving society through ethical and evidence-based practice.
