Mission

To be a department that adds value to children, youth, families, and society through qualified graduates in the field of child development; conducts national and international studies to understand and explain child development and its related factors; contributes to human development; develops projects using contemporary approaches concerning children, families, educators, and society; and disseminates these projects for the best interests of children and families across all segments of society.

Vision

To train child development professionals who have acquired a science-based, high-quality education and research perspective; possess professional competencies; and are respectful of human and children's rights, objective, honest, value science, and embrace social responsibility and ethical values for the protection, support, and improvement of child development. Furthermore, to conduct studies that contribute to science and society in cooperation with institutions, organizations, and professionals related to child development; to provide and conduct postgraduate education; and to offer qualified education, research, and consultancy services.
