Our Aim

It aims to train qualified speech and language therapists who can perform their profession in the most competent manner through evidence-based practices on the basis of human rights without discrimination, by ensuring the development as well as the prevention, evaluation, functional diagnosis, and rehabilitation of disorders in communication, language, speech, voice, and swallowing processes in order to improve the quality of life of society and individuals; who follow developments in science and technology and integrate them with their experience; who possess ethical values; who are inclined to collaborate; and who are open to lifelong learning.

Our undergraduate students:

- Prioritizing social benefit, display the up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to fulfill the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapy profession in the most competent and independent manner,

- Plan, implement, and monitor the prevention, evaluation, and therapy needs for clients' communication, language, speech, voice, and swallowing disorders with an evidence-based, person-centered, and holistic approach on the basis of human rights and ethical principles without discrimination,

- Take part and work interdisciplinarily for the protection of health, enhancement of quality of life, public awareness, education, research, and legal processes in the field of speech and language therapy,

- Maintain personal, professional, and academic learning and career development with a continuous sense of lifelong quality consciousness.
