Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Program Eğitim Amaçları (Mezunların mezuniyetten birkaç yıl sonra ulaşmaları beklenen hedefler)

PEO 1: To train Dietitians who possess the up-to-date knowledge, skills, and competencies required to practice their profession, who can analyze problems, seek solutions, and demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.

PEO 2: To train dietitians who ensure adequate and balanced nutrition to protect, improve, and enhance the lifelong health and quality of life of individuals and society in an environmentally conscious manner, while adhering to ethical principles.

PEO 3: To train dietitians who meet the professional qualifications defined within the framework of international professional standards.

PEO 4: To train dietitians who can maintain their professional development with an awareness of lifelong learning.

 Program Outcomes (POs)

  1. Possesses fundamental knowledge in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics.

  2. Utilizes professional knowledge and skills for health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment at both individual and societal levels.

  3. Provides education and consultancy in nutrition and dietetics to individuals, families, and the community.

  4. Gains effective knowledge and skills in food service systems to manage processes such as menu planning, production, hygiene, and food safety.

  5. Conducts field-related studies independently using their knowledge base and participates in research, projects, and activities in collaboration with healthcare teams and other disciplines.

  6. Practices the profession in accordance with scientific research, evidence-based data, evolving technology, current literature, and health policies.

  7. Performs professional practices in line with ethical principles and standards, serving as a role model for colleagues and society.

  8. Accesses, evaluates, and utilizes international literature for professional development using at least one foreign language.

  9. Employs critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills within the scope of Nutrition and Dietetics.

  10. Establishes effective written and verbal communication in the professional field.

  11. Possesses the general cultural knowledge required by the profession.

  12. Develops a positive attitude toward lifelong learning and transforms it into consistent behavior.
