Migration management was discussed from various perspectives during a meeting held at Istanbul Medipol University.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Mehmet Cangir, directors general from the Presidency of Migration Management under the Ministry of Interior, representatives of the Istanbul provincial administration, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yüksel Durmaz, and our Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Çetin.

Organized by the Office for the Prevention of Discrimination and Equality Ombudsmanship and the Mediterranean Research Center (MEDAR), the meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Bekir Berat Özipek.

Bringing together representatives from civil society, academia, and public administration, the meeting addressed migration management through a holistic approach. Participants shared their perspectives, experiences, and recommendations, contributing to a constructive dialogue on current migration related issues and policies.
