Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer Education Applications

Applications for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School will be accepted between July 7-14, 2025.
You must fill out the application form and send it via email to [email protected].
Students who do not submit the application form will not be allowed to enroll in summer school courses.

Conditions for enrolling in Summer School courses:

  1. Students may take courses from previous semesters in which they were unsuccessful or in which they were enrolled but did not gain the right to take the exam. 
    ****Students who fail due to absenteeism in the 2024-2025 academic year's summer school will be allowed to take courses for the last time. As of the 2025-2026 academic year, students who fail due to absenteeism will not be allowed to take courses in the summer school.
  2. Students admitted through the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) may also take courses from previous semesters that they failed or could not attend the exam for. 
  3. Students enrolled in Double Major (ÇAP) or Minor programs can register for eligible courses (for which prerequisites are met) offered in the Summer School, regardless of whether they have taken these Design Studio courses before.
  4. The duration of Summer School is at least seven weeks. Attendance is mandatory. Students planning to do internships should plan their schedules carefully. Students who have at least three free weekdays during the summer school period may apply with a petition to do an internship during this time.
  5. Students who do not select courses or do not make their payments will not be able to take courses in Summer School.
  6. The mode of education will be face-to-face. (Hybrid education will not be provided.)
  7. Students wishing to take courses from other universities may only enroll in courses from previous semesters they failed or could not take exams for. These students must also have fulfilled the attendance requirement. Those who failed due to absenteeism cannot take the course during the summer term.
  8. Students taking courses from other universities must submit the following documents to [email protected] once their application is accepted:
  • Application form
  • Student certificate
  • Transcript
  • Copy of ID
  • 1 Photo
  • University board decision
  • Approval letter (stating that the course is deemed appropriate)

Note: After course selection and advisor approval, summer school fees can be checked through the MEBIS system.
