Defines the differences of primary and secondary cells (cell lines); explains how to obtain these cells; defines the consumables, their usage conditions and necessities in a cell culture lab, explains structure of a cell culture lab and tells the essential equipments and devices; experiences subculturing, counting, freezing-thawing and imaging of cells; performs the assigned task in a group work.
