Istanbul Medipol University, one of the youngest and the most modern universities in Turkey, was founded on 7 July 2009 by Turkey Education Health and Research Foundation (TESA), founded by Dr. Fahrettin KOCA, the president of Medipol Health Group Executive Board.
Istanbul Medipol University Halic Campus is located on the Golden Horn Peninsula, one of the oldest regions in Istanbul, and started education in 2010. Kavacık Campus is on the Asian side of Istanbul where most of the facilities, dormitories, sports areas, and research laboratories are located. The university is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, library, and other facilities on both campuses. The university has cooperated with one of the biggest private health care provider, Medipol Mega Hospitals Complex. This hospital serves as the university hospital.
Istanbul Medipol University, from the very beginning, aims to combine theory with practice, offers education accordingly and prepares its students for the future.
With its short cycle programs, first cycle programs ,second cycle and third cycle programs IMU has become a leading university that directs science and society with a strong organizational culture and the spirit of entrepreneurship and stable dynamism.
