The aim of this course is to reveal the relation between environment and health, to devate the environmental problems due to population and development and to evaluate with occupational health perspective.

This course contains; Environmental Health and Determinants of Health,Air POllution,Water Pollution,Solid Waste,Radiation,Noise POllution,Food Safety,Soil Pollution,Energy,Waste,Occupational Diseases and Intoxications,Preventive Measures in Environmental Health,Environmental Problems,Environmental Health in Turkey and in the world.

Students have basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of Medical Physics, Radiation Safety, Anatomy, Radiological Anatomy, Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine.

The student owns knowledge of ethical principles and rules related to their duties and responsibilities.

The student takes part in the operation of imaging devices using ionizing and non-ionizing radiation by applying radiation safety procedures and identifies and reports inconsistencies or malfunctions related to these devices.

The student carries out a given task independently using the basic knowledge and skills gained.

The student evaluates the knowledge about his field at a basic level with a critical approach, he designates his learning needs and directs his learning.

Communicates with patients and their relatives in a professional manner, taking into account their cultural sensitivities.
