AimThe aim of this course to learn the working principles of hearing aids.
Course ContentThis course contains; Communication disorders and rehabilitation concepts,Hearing rehabilitation program and basic steps,Effects of the cochlear dysfunction and frequency selectivity,Assessment of the hearing impaired patient,Hearing losses which can be rehabilitated using hearing aids,Basic elements of the hearing aids,Hearing aids types and usage for different types of hearing losses,Basic properties of personal hearing aids specifications and differences,Methods for choosing a hearing aid (Real-Ear Methods),Selection and validation of hearing aids,Evaluation and preparation of the correct ear molds,Personal fitting of hearing aids, CROS, BICROS and other unconventional hearing aids,General assessment.
