AimThe aim of this course is to interpret the basic concepts and theories in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and to have an idea about how to integrate the scientific approach with business life with examples and theoretical knowledge. Students will be able to explain the problems experienced in the workplace with the theories they have learned and will be able to solve the problems encountered in business life (individual-group-organization) within the framework of the information they have acquired. Will be able to explain the main topics of Industrial Psychology, Human Resources functions and Organizational Psychology.
Course ContentThis course contains; An introduction to I & O psychology ,Research Methods in IO Psychology ,Industrial psychology: Job analysis & staffing decisions,Industrial psychology: Employee Recruitment, Selection and Placement,Industrial psychology: Performance & performance measurement ,Organizational psychology: Motivation,Organizational psychology: Motivation cont. and Job satisfaction and employee attitudes ,Midterm Exam,Organizational psychology: Stress,Organizational psychology: Stess and Leadership,Organizational psychology: Leadership and teamwork,Organizational psychology: Organizational Culture,Organizational psychology: Fairness and Organizational Justice.
