Aim | This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the social determinants of health, social health inequalities, and justice issues in access to health services by addressing the relationship between health and social sciences from a social work perspective. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of health policies, social welfare, epidemiology, and health rights of disadvantaged groups, and will be able to evaluate the role of social workers in health services. The course aims to encourage students to analyze the social dimensions of health with a holistic and rights-based approach and to develop social work interventions for social health problems. |
