Aim | This course focuses on the definition and importance of nutrition, the relationship between nutrition and health, and nutrients. The main aim of this course is to provide a better understanding of the following topics: 1) What is nutrition?; 2) Why is nutrition important?; 3) The concept of healthy eating; 4) The relationship between nutrition and health; 5) What are macro and micro nutrients?; 6) How does energy metabolism work?; 7) Vegan vegetarian diets; 8) Eating disorders. |
