Course ContentThis course contains; 1.Anatomy of Temporomandibular Joint,2.Biological laws that regulate the function of the muscles that move the mandibula,3.Basic position that the mandibula movements begin (centric relationship, centric occlusion, long-centric, wide centric),4.Basic position that starts the mandibula movement (vertical dimension, occlusal vertical dimension, resting vertical dimension),5.Types of mandibula movements (movement planes, classification, rotation axes),6.Types of mandibula movements(boundary movements of the mandibula, within the boundary movements of the mandibula),7.Clinical importance of mandibula movement-I,8.Clinical importance of mandibula movement-II,9.Determinants of the horizontal plane occlusal morphology,10.Determinants of the sagital plane occlusal morphology,11.Determinants of the frontal plane occlusal morphology,12.Occlusion theories and optimal occlusion criterias,13.Occlusion Types and Prerequisites for Occlusion Types.
