Aim	To evaluate the etiology and definition of orthodontic anomalies, fixed and removable appliances, orthodontic biomechanics, tooth movement, anchorage and retention methods.
Course Content	This course contains; Preventive orthodontics, space maintaners, Interceptive orthodontics, guidance eruption serial extraction, Removable Orthodontic appliances, Fixed Orthodontic Appliances, Fixed Orthodontic Appliances, Extraoral Appliances, Extraoral and Intraoral anchorage, Introduction to the Orthodontic Biomechanics, force and tooth movement types, Tooth response to the orthodontic force, Bone resorption types, Histological response of the adjacent tissues, Class I, II and III malocclusions and treatments, Class I, II and III malocclusions and treatments, Class I, II and III malocclusions and treatments, Functional Appliances, Functional Appliances, Orthodontic treatment of impacted teeth, Rapid Palatal expansion, Cleft lip and Palate, Orthognatic Surgery, Adult Orthodontics, Retention, Normal occlusion criterias, Complications of the Orthodontic Treatment, Congenital Tooth Missing and Treatment.
