AimDiagnosing, treatment planning, treating and following up endodontically involved teeth.
Course ContentThis course contains; 1.Case presentation: The students will make a presentation to his/her assisstant professor after finishing the whole treatment of one patient; 2. Access cavity preparation; 3. Working length determination by periapical radiography; 3. Root canal preparation by step-back method; 4. Irrigation; 5. Coronal flaring; 6. Periapical radiography with master gutta percha cones; 7. Final irrigation; 8. Root canal filling by lateral condensation method; 9. Final radiograph; 10. Fiber post restoration

During the practical course, students should perform at least 5 root canal treatments on molar teeth, 7 root canal treatments on premolars and incisors and 1 postcore restoration.
