AimThe aim of this course is to provide students with aesthetic concepts in the field of visual media, to develop the ability to evaluate art in historical and technological contexts, and to raise aesthetic awareness in digital production processes.
Course ContentThis course contains; Philosophers and the Definition of Aesthetics,Art Concepts,Basic Concepts of Aesthetics,The Aesthetic Factor in Visual Perception,Defining Characteristics of the Work of Art,Elements Determining Aesthetic Value in Painting,History of Technology in the Relationship between Art and Technology,The Impact of Technological Developments on Art Production,Benjamin and Reproduction with Multiplication Techniques,Traditional Production and Mechanical Production,Questioning Traditional Aesthetic Patterns,Painting Environments of the Machine Era,Digital Production,Principles of Visual Perception.
