Aim | This course aims to conduct a holistic research with students by examining visual art in historical periods through its cultural and existential significance. The course will focus on painting as one of the most historically comprehensive representations of visual art. The cultural contexts of the works, the changing and evolving performative and functional aspects of art throughout history will be discussed. |
