Erasmus is a European Union program which aims to facilitate multilateral cooperation among the higher education institutes in Europe. Thousands of students and academicians take part in this program every year and have the chance to study or lecture abroad with grants. The students, who study in member country universities from 3 months to 12 months, are supported financially throughout the period. Accommodation and some other expenses are met by the Host University. Students who benefit from this program will have the opportunity to meet new cultures, to have experiences abroad, to study in a multicultural class, to have ties about the related profession, and to present his or her own culture.
The Mevlana Exchange Program is a program which aims to facilitate the exchange of students and academic staff between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other(non-EU) countries. The students who apply for the program, which includes some pre-conditions, will have the opportunity to study at any other universities he or she wishes. The students may benefit from the program for at least one and at most two terms.
