1. Will be able to understand Aircraft Weights Related to Load and Balance.16, 9A
1.1 Understands the importance of balance.
1.2 Knows the center of gravity.
2. Will be able to learn the center of gravity of the empty aircraft.16, 9A
2.1 Know the concept of moment.
2.2 Draws the imaginary starting line.
3. Will be able to comprehend and explain the main aerodynamic structures.16, 9A
3.1 Calculates load balance.
3.2 Understands the effects of overloading and takes precautions.
3.3 Knows the upload limits.
4. Will be able to comprehend loading procedures according to aircraft types.16, 9A
4.1 Knows the weight limits of bulk loading aircraft.
4.2 Knows the weight limits of ULD (tracked) loaded aircraft.
4.3 Calculates passenger and cargo weight according to aircraft types and structures.
4.4 Prepares a basic Load Sheet.
5. Will be able to comprehend the procedures to be applied for special loads.16, 9A
5.1 Knows the location of special loads in the aircraft compartment.
5.2 Recognizes the in-flight space to be prepared for special loads.
5.3 Loads special loads according to the rules.
6. Will be able to understand the difficulties in the take-off phase depending on the weight off the aircraft before navigation.16, 9A
6.1 Knows that loading calculations depend on weather conditions.
6.2 Knows that loading calculations will vary depending on fuel purchases.
