This course contains; General Aviation information and Aviation Legislation, National and International Aviation Organizations,Aircraft Weights Related to Load and Balance and Importance of Balance,Load and Balance Calculation Methods,The Effects of Loading at the Rear and Front Limits of the Center of Gravity on Aircraft Performance,Passenger and Freight Transport in Airline Transport,Loading Limitations and Load Limitations, Aircraft Limitations,Preparation of Load and Balance Form,Ramp Working Areas,Operational Departments and Field of Activity,Ramp Safety,Handling Equipment,DE-ICING/ANTI–ICING,DE-ICING/ANTI–ICING,An overview.

1. Will be able to understand Aircraft Weights Related to Load and Balance.

2. Will be able to learn the center of gravity of the empty aircraft.

2.2 Draws the imaginary starting line.
3. Will be able to comprehend and explain the main aerodynamic structures.

3.2 Understands the effects of overloading and takes precautions.

4. Will be able to comprehend loading procedures according to aircraft types.

4.1 Knows the weight limits of bulk loading aircraft.
4.2 Knows the weight limits of ULD (tracked) loaded aircraft.
4.3 Calculates passenger and cargo weight according to aircraft types and structures.
4.4 Prepares a basic Load Sheet.
5. Will be able to comprehend the procedures to be applied for special loads.

5.2 Recognizes the in-flight space to be prepared for special loads.
5.3 Loads special loads according to the rules.
