Course Content | This course contains; Introduction to body systems, basic terms in anatomy and physiology , homeostasis,Cells, tissues and membranes, and integumentary system,Skeletal system: Skeletal muscles, muscle contraction, effects of exercise and aging,Nervous system: Organisation, signaling, central and peripheral nervous system,Neuromuscular connection, posture, balance and coordination of movements,Endocrine system: Endocrine glands and tissues, hypothalamus and pituitary hormones,Endocrine system: Hormones (growth, thyroid, parathyroid, insulin, cortisol) and endocrine control,Reproductive system: Male reproductive system, female reproductive system, pregnancy, birth, lactation, aging and sex hormones,Cardiovascular system: Blood, heart, vessels, circulation and regulation of blood pressure,Urinary system: Kidneys, urine formation ve composition, control of fluid balance, control of kidney blood flow,Lymphatic system and immune system,Respiratory system: Lungs, respiration, gas exchange and control of breathing,Digestive system: Gastrointestinal tract, functions of liver and pancreas, digestion, absorption and defecation, nutrition,Integration of functions: Regulation of blood pressure, maintenance of fluid balance, control of body temperature, puberty and growth, perception and action, reflexes. |
