Course Content | This course contains; 1. Important knowledge about Ottoman Turkish, use of dictionary,2. Alphabet, Ottoman Alphabet, features of some letters in the alphabet,3. Writing the letters at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the sentence and practices,4. Fuctions of the letters, Vay, Ya and Elif vocally,5. Spelling of Turkish words, a. rules while spelling consonant b. rules while spelling vowels,6. Summary study on texts of previous courses,7. Vowel point and some special signs (şedde, tenvin etc.) MID-TERM,8. Spelling of Arabic and Persian words,9. Spelling of Arabic and Persian words,10. Summary study on topics taught so far,11. General information about Arabic words,12. Teaching ism-i fail, ismi mef’ul and practices,13. Numbers in Arabic, elif-i maksure, elif memdude, spelling of hemze (exercises about it),14.
