Assessment and Evaluation

In graduate programs, passing and graduation success criteria and passing grade for each course are governed by the provisions of Turkey's Council of Higher Education and other relevant legislation. In our Political Science and International Relations Program, course success is measured in Project, Article, Oral and Written methods. The Proficiency Exam is the most important turning point. After all the necessary courses are taken, the student's readiness to write a thesis is measured with a very comprehensive "Proficiency Exam". The most important success criterion in doctoral education is the candidate's ability to do original research on his/her own. For this purpose, research project and article writing attempts are made in all courses.
