Aim

The main purpose of the Ph.D. program in Finance and Banking is; The aim of this course is to provide our students with the necessary theoretical skills, to conduct independent research, to analyze scientific problems and related data with an effective point of view and to gain the necessary skills to reach new syntheses.

Registration and Admission Requirements

Undergraduate and/or Master's Degree with Thesis, Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Examination (ALES) Result, English Proficiency Certificate

Graduation Requirements

Students who complete all doctoral courses and 240 credits together with the seminar, successfully pass the doctoral qualification exam, submit their doctoral thesis proposal and successfully defend their doctoral thesis are entitled to receive a diploma.

Recognition of Prior Learning

According to the articles of Istanbul Medipol University Regulation on Graduate Education, students are admitted by transfer.

Program Qualification

Will be able to have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources containing current information in the field.
With the current developments in the banking and finance sector, it acquires information about basic resources, current trends and approaches.
Acquires the necessary theoretical background to understand and solve banking and finance problems and make theoretical contributions.

Employment Opportunities

The doctoral program in the field of ve Finance and Banking, is required for the training of effective researchers, managers and experts who wish to pursue a qualified and academic career in this field. Upon successful completion of the program, students have the title of doctor in Banking and Finance.
