AimTo learn the cell membrane, endomembrane system, organelles and clinical importance of these systems. Understanding of endocytosis, exocytosis, intracellular skeletal system. Understanding of transcription and translation steps of gene expression and epigenetic control of gene expression. To understand the causes and repair mechanisms of DNA damage and to know the basics of cancer biology and genetics. To learn immunobiology and stem cell biology. To gain insights on the methods used in molecular biology. Understanding of chromosomal anomalies with mendel and nonmendel inheritance models and their importance in clinical genetics.
